Anjanette Pavell
Founder & Director
Anjanette is a founder and director of Co-Counsel. She has over 30 years’ experience working for City/Wall Street law firms, as European General Counsel to an S&P 500 company and running a negotiation and procurement consultancy. She qualified as a corporate lawyer but now specialises in both corporate and commercial transactions.

Lisa Patmore
Partner & Director
Lisa is a partner and director of Co-Counsel. She has over 20 years’ experience working in international and highly respected employment practices. She advises clients in a range of sectors and on a range of issues, from senior executive terminations, sensitive discrimination claims and personal data in the workplace to general day to day queries and policy drafting.

Anneliese Aulton
Senior Solicitor
Anneliese has over 15 years’ experience as a commercial lawyer and has worked for leading national and regional law firms. Anneliese advises on a wide range of commercial issues and has particular strength in projects involving licensing intellectual property, technology and data protection.

Ben Kieft
Partner
Ben is an experienced solicitor and joined Co-Counsel in March 2020. Prior to that he had over 10 years’ experience as a corporate lawyer at a US firm in the City, working closely with clients in the technology, biotech and healthcare sectors on domestic and cross-border transactions. Ben enjoys advising clients on a broad range of corporate matters.

Caroline Savage
Finance PA
Caroline is our Finance PA and started working with Co-Counsel in 2014. She has over 30 years’ experience as a legal PA and has worked for several City based London law firms. She now enjoys working closely with the management team to provide accounts and financial reporting to ensure the smooth running of the business.

Daniel Fernandes
Trainee Solicitor
Daniel joined Co-Counsel as a paralegal in December 2020, having worked previously as an administrative assistant at a City law firm after completing his LLB degree and began his training contract with Co-Counsel in April 2023. He now enjoys working with Co-Counsel’s lawyers and clients on a wide range of commercial matters.

Emily Wilson
Trainee Solicitor
Emily joined Co-Counsel as a paralegal in July 2019 after completing an MA Law conversion course, having previously worked in customer service roles specialising in complaint resolution. Emily now enjoys working with Co-Counsel’s lawyers on a wide range of commercial matters. Emily began her training contract with Co-Counsel in November 2021 and is also studying the LPC part-time.

Hugo Anthony
Trainee Solicitor
Hugo joined Co-Counsel as a paralegal in July 2021 on graduating from university, having gained experience in between his studies in a range of sectors such as insurance, marketing, education and law. He began his training contract with Co-Counsel in September 2023 and enjoys working with Co-Counsel’s lawyers and clients on a wide range of commercial matters.

Ian Charlton
Partner
Ian has over 20 years’ experience with international law firms in London and Australia and has held senior in-house roles with FTSE top 10 multinationals in the UK and Asia-Pacific. Originally a litigation lawyer, Ian now undertakes a range of commercial matters with a focus on complex IT and outsourcing transactions.

Jacqui Skovron
Partner
Jacqui has over 25 years’ experience as a commercial property lawyer dealing with a broad spectrum of property work. She has acted for commercial and residential developers, worked as in-house counsel for a property developer and an asset management company and has lectured on the Legal Practice Course. She now specialises in the Electronic Communications Code and commercial wayleave negotiations.

Julia Jackson
Consultant
Julia has over 25 years’ experience in the field of immigration and nationality law. Julia specialises in business and executive immigration advising clients on strategic immigration planning, international recruitment and assignments and management of immigration status from first UK arrival to naturalisation. Julia regularly provides training to employers to understand compliance and risks around immigration issues and sponsorship.

Karen Wootliff
Consultant
Karen has over 30 years’ experience in IP/IT/commercial matters, working in a Silver Circle law firm and then as Head of Legal (in-house and external) for large and small companies (UK and US), in various industries. She applies heavyweight experience on a full range of IT and other transactions for suppliers and customers and particularly enjoys maintaining the relationship beyond agreement completion as part of the client team. She is a qualified DPO (GDPR).

Kavitha Ganeshan
Solicitor
Kavitha qualified into the tax department of a Magic Circle law firm in 1999. She later spent a number of years working as a tax associate in the structured finance department of a large US law firm’s London office. Having joined Co-Counsel in 2016, Kavitha now works on a variety of commercial matters. She has particular experience in the telecoms sector, specialising in regulatory and consumer-related law.

Leoni Buckley
Chartered Legal Executive
Leoni is a qualified legal executive, she has over 10 years’ experience in residential property, working for private individuals on sale and purchase transactions, for developers on new build sales and part exchange transactions and dealing with leasehold enfranchisement for freehold companies.

Nangeloum Ursell-Djourna
Solicitor
Nange trained with Co-Counsel, qualifying as a Solicitor in early 2016. Before that he worked for 9 years as a senior paralegal at a City law firm engaged on a range of complex arbitration and litigation matters. Nange works on a full range of commercial matters with particular experience in the Electronic Communications Code, on-line business and Company set up.

Sunaina Rana
Paralegal
Sunaina joined Co-Counsel as a Paralegal in December 2021, having obtained her LPC LLM. Between her studies Sunaina has had experience of working in e-commerce, customer service, hospitality and law. Sunaina now works on a wide range of commercial matters with Co-Counsel’s lawyers and clients.
